Wire mesh demisters are available in standard, drawer-type and wave-type structures. Mist-laden gas passes through fine mesh held between support grids; droplets collide with and adhere to the wires, coalesce into larger drops and drain downward under gravity. Material selection covers stainless steels, titanium, nickel alloys, super-duplex steel and corrosion-resistant engineering plastics.
